Swim Safe is being delivered by Manvers Lake and Dearne Valley Trust for the first time at this site. Manvers Lake & Dearne Valley Trust was formed in 2011 to look after Manvers Lake and the surrounding area, including managing the Boathouse and it's facilities. In December 2012 we became a Registered Charity - No. 1150159.

Our Objects are:
To promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for:
​Angling, Canoeing, Cycling, Dragon Boating, Running, Sailing, Swimming, Triathlon and Windsurfing
To the communities of Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley and the surrounding areas.
