Public sessions run from 30th July on selected Saturdays

The meeting point for Swim Safe is 100m to the right of the Lifeboat Station which separates the beach from the car park, between the Bude SLSC Nippers hut and surf school. There are registration signs directing participants to the SwimSafe Bude beach hut which will be set between two large Swim Safe flags.

Pay and Display car parking is available at Summerleaze beach. Please allow plenty of time to find parking as Bude is exceptionally busy in the summer. There are a number of car parks available in Bude, but may be a 10-15 min walk from the SwimSafe Bude hut.

Closest bus stop is The Strand serviced by the following buses - 6, 6A, 12B, 85, 95, 128, 180, 216, 217, 218, 219, 319, 460, 480.

Although our wetsuits are disinfected after every use, please help us reduce our COVID transmission risk by wearing your own wetsuit wherever possible.

No private changing facilities, public toilets are 10 metres away if private changing is required.

Several cafes and shops close by.
