Swim Safe sessions would not take place without the help of our dedicated team of volunteers, swimming teachers, lifeguards and site coordinators.
Volunteer for Swim Safe
Enthusiastic volunteers with a passion for helping children to learn about water safety and how to be safe in and around water would be welcome!
Our volunteers need to be self-motivated and enjoy motivating others. They also need to be good at time-keeping, administrative skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Volunteers are needed to fulfil a variety of roles for example, to greet and register participants, distribute kit, accompany sessions to the waters edge, carry out evaluation and hand out safety messaging.
Volunteers are not required at every site, however we would welcome your registration and will be in contact to advise of vacant positions.
- You need to be 18 years old to apply. If you are 16 or 17, you can apply as long as you are accompanied by an adult.
